I believe we are missing out an the best part of christmas – therefore….if you can make it down to the IFSC for the 12 days of the Christmas Market you absolutely should!
There is usually a great atmosphere and lots of little stalls and a carousel, German Gluehwein and sausages and… basically the only thing missing is snow. That can be manufactured too if necessary!!!
So if you can spare an hour or two between December 10 and December 23 you should definitely check it out. I know I will.
The festival is traditional Christmas at its best and offers a lot more than shopping. There are beautifully restored fairground attractions as well as crafts for adults and children alike. And, to ensure a really festive atmosphere, carol singers and bands are on hand on selected days to perform a feel good selection of Christmas favourites.
Soak up the warmth of the season and treat yourself to deliciously indulgent hot chocolate, beers or traditional German mulled wine.
Shoppers will appreciate the deliciously indulgent array of gourmet treats like cheeses, cakes and hampers and other goodies will be on sale, the perfect present any foodie.
So why not book your flights now as there are some great offers available with many airlines, especially Ryanair and AerLingus.
Egans House have some quality rooms available so that after a long day indulging in all the Christmas Festivities you can return to our Guesthouse and relax in peace and comfort.
